Jonathan Sergison

Jonathan Sergison was born in 1964 and studied at Canterbury School of Art and the Architectural Association, qualifying as an architect in 1991. He previously worked for David Chipperfield and Tony Fretton prior to establishing his own practice with Stephen Bates in 1996. He has taught at a number of schools of architecture in the UK, including the University of Nottingham and the University of Humberside. He was unit master at the Architectural Association, London, in the first year and Diploma school (1995-1998), Guest Critic at The University of Kingston (3rd and 5th Year) and 5th Year course tutor in the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering at the University of Bath (2002). He is currently Visiting Professor for the Department of Architecture of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich (ETH) (2003-2005).
