Jeffrey Inaba

JEFFREY INABA and Peter Zellner are the co-founders of VALDES, an institution dedicated to the cultural promotion of low-density urban areas, or for lack of a better word, what have until now been called ‘suburbs.’ From 2000-2003 he was a principal of AMO, the research consulting office based in New York and Rotterdam founded by the Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas. Inaba is the Program Coordinator of the Project on the City, a sponsored research undertaking at the Harvard Design School that examines the impact of modernization on cities. He co-edited the program’s two books, The Great Leap Forward and, The Harvard Design School Guide to Shopping (Taschen 2002). He currently teaches contemporary urbanism courses at the Southern California Institute of Architecture, in Los Angeles.
