Carel Weeber BNA BNSP BDA, Knight in the Order of the Netherlands Lion. Born 1937 in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. He studied Building Engineer at the Technical University (TU) Delft. 1965 - 1970 Staff Lecturer Academy of Architecture Rotterdam; 1970 – 2003 Professor of Architecture Technical University Delft; 1977 – 1987 HWT Architects in Rotterdam; 1988 - 1998 de Architekten Cie., Amsterdam; 1992 – 1998 President Association of Dutch Architects (BNA); 1997 Honorary Member of the ‘Bund Deutscher Architekten (BDA); Honorary Member of Association of Dutch Architects (BNA); 1998 – 2001 Director of Education, Vice Dean Faculty of Architecture TU Delft; 1998 Consultant de Architekten Cie., Amsterdam. He Received several awards and honours: Prix de Rome, gold medal 1966, Sikkens Award 1983, National Beton Award 1983, National Steel Award 1986. Furthermore, his projects has bin shown in several exhibitions and Publications (2003, ‘Carel Weeber ex-architect’. Publisher 010 Rotterdam, among many others). He is author and initiator of ‘Het Wilde Wonen’
